Home-education compliance for UK-SCO
Docent treats compliance as product, not paperwork. Every generated document is bound to a cryptographic hash of your child's mastery vector at generation time — defensible during a UK-SCO assessor review.

la consent letter
Cycle: Consent must be obtained from the Local Authority (via the Director of Education) BEFORE withdrawing a child from a local authority school. Under s.35(1) the LA must be satisfied that efficient education suitable to the age, ability and aptitude of the child will be provided. No annual renewal is required if consent is granted, but the LA retains the right to withdraw consent if circumstances change.

How the generator works
- Docent's voice tutor records your child's mastery on every CD (per content description).
- When you click "Generate", the platform pulls the past 12 weeks of mastery + groups them by the UK-SCO authority's required learning areas.
- Claude Opus 4.7 drafts the narrative for each section.
- A schema validator checks every required field is populated and curriculum codes match the expected jurisdiction.
- You review, edit, then sign. The platform produces both PDF and .docx for filing.
- The PDF embeds a sha256 of your child's mastery vector in every page footer — assessor-defensible.
